Personal profile: Assistant to the Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, professor of the Department of Safety Engineering, and doctoral tutor. In 2018, he was selected as the Young Talents Support Project of China Association for Science and Technology, and in 2020, he was approved for the Excellent Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has been engaged in the research on the explosion mechanism of hazardous chemicals and personal protection technology for a long time. He currently serves as the director general of the Professional Committee of Explosion Proof and Security Inspection of the Chinese Academy of Ordnance Engineering, the secretary of the expert group of the Equipment Department of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, and the secretary of the 8th Safety Science and Engineering Discipline Evaluation Group. As the person in charge, he presided over more than 10 national-level scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China General Fund, the Youth Fund, and the "13th Five-Year" National Key R&D Program; published more than 30 SCI papers as the first author, and obtained 20 invention patents. As the main participant, he has won 3 first prizes of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress awards and many other scientific research and teaching awards.
