The focus of the work in the direction of flexible protection is to tackle key problems in lightweight and flexible bulletproof and anti-explosive materials and structures, design lightweight, practical and safer flexible protective equipment, and evaluate the comprehensive protective effectiveness of corresponding equipment. Through the development of flexible protective equipment, the problems of traditional metal protective structures such as high mass, heavy collateral damage, and inflexibility have been solved. The multi-type flexible protective structure independently developed by the studio has been applied in more than 400 important places such as airports, high-speed railways, subways, and stadiums in 28 provinces across the country, and completed many large-scale activities such as the "70th National Day Military Parade" and "National Two Sessions". It has become a new generation of explosive emergency disposal and protective equipment in my country.
