The Smart security and flexible protection young scientist studio, led by Professor Huang Guangyan, was established based on Beijing Institute of Technology. The studio currently has 7 main members, 3 cooperative experts, 3 consultant professors, and several postdoctoral and postgraduate students. The studio aims at major national strategic needs, focusing on three main research directions: explosion damage, flexible protection and smart safety. Including flexible material impact response, synthetic processing, urban smart security construction, intelligent explosion-proof equipment design and research and development.
